The Avtomat 5.45mm (Automatic rifle, 5.45mm) is an assault rifle that appears in Survarium.

Background

In 2014 it was announced that the Russian Army would adopt a version of the Kovrov Mechanical Plant AEK-971 rifle for service, designated the A-545. Originally designed in the late 70s and 80s for the "Abakan" trials, the updated A-545 version features a rotary drum aperture sight and a built-in Picatinny rail to replace the traditional Warsaw Pact side-rail bracket.

Overview

The A-545 is a high-tier Renaissance Army weapon, available at the ninth rank of "Lieutenant Colonel". Its stats are mostly average with the exception of its rate of fire, which is one of the highest in the game. This means that it has a very high damage per second and is otherwise an all around effective weapon, save for its shorter than average damage falloff range.
