The Benelli M4 Super 90 is a shotgun that will appear in Survarium.

Background

As part of a submission request for a new 12 gauge, semi-automatic combat shotgun for the U.S. Military, Benelli Armi SPA designed and built the Benelli M4 Super 90 Combat Shotgun. After beating the competition during trials, it was adopted in the early 2000s and an initial batch of roughly 20,000 units were shipped to the USA.

Overview

The M4 Super 90 is one of the two top-tier shotguns in Survarium, the other being the Renaissance Army's SPAS-12. Available at the second rank of "Huntsman" from the Fringe Settlers, it boasts a higher rate of fire and lighter weight than the SPAS-12, but a lower magazine capacity of 6 to the SPAS' 8.
