The Heckler & Koch Maschinen-Pistole 7 (Machine Pistol model 7) is a personal defense weapon that will appear in Survarium.

Background

First shown in 1999, the MP7 was designed along with its proprietary ammunition to meet NATO requirements calling for a replacement for 9x19mm firearms. These requirements specifically listed an increased ability to penetrate body armor compared to current weapons using standard pistol ammunition. It entered full production in 2001 and went on to be adopted in several allied countries as both a law enforcement and military weapon.
