The Heckler & Koch Universale Maschinen-Pistole 45 (Universal Machine Pistol 45 caliber) is a submachine gun that appears in Survarium.

Background

Designed in the mid to late nineties, the UMP was primarily intended to be a lightweight, powerful submachine gun that was also cheaper to manufacture than H&K's flagship MP5 submachine gun. It was initially targeted for US law enforcement agencies but has since been adopted in several other countries.

Overview

One of the early Black Market weapons for allied survivors, the UMP-45 is made available after only a few ranks. It has the single highest damage and stopping power out of all the submachine guns, damage in particular being roughly 40 to 80% stronger than other choices. This strength is handicapped by a small magazine size, very long reload times and one of the lowest rates of fire, being matched only by the Uzi.
