The MP-153 Baikal (Mechanical Plant, model 153, Baikal) is a semi-automatic shotgun in Survarium.

Background

Beginning development in 1997, the Baikal was designed by Izhevsk Mechanical Plant to be able to continually fire both light skeet and heavier magnum loads reliably. It eventually became one of the most popular Russian-made semi-automatic shotguns, used to hunt game across the country and exported to several others.

Overview

The Baikal serves as a mid-tier shotgun for the Scavengers, available at the fourth rank of "Die-Hard". Compared to its Black Market equivalent, the Remington 870, it has a slightly lower base damage but a significantly faster fire rate and better accuracy. This means that the Baikal has a much higher damage per second (almost triple) with little to no downsides.
