The Pistolet Makarova (Makarov Pistol) is a pistol that appears in Survarium.

Background

After World War II, a major change in thought about the role and features of a military pistol came about due to combat experience and significant issues with the current TT-33. In 1947, a competition was held for replacing the TT-33 and Nagant M1895 revolver and by 1951 the PM had been officially adopted as the new side arm for the Soviet armed forces.

Overview

Accessible after reaching the second rank of "Survivor" with the Scavengers, the PM functions as their pistol of choice. It features fairly average stats, meaning it performs well in most situations but excels in none. Its stats are nearly identical to the Fort 17, differing in that it has a faster rate of fire (350 to 300 RPM) but a lower magazine size (8 to 12). This means that the PM has a better damage output but is not able to deal with follow-up targets as easily.
