The Spetsialnaya Razarbotka 3 Modernizirovanniy (Special Development 3, Modernized) is a carbine assault rifle that appears in Survarium.

Background

Developed in the early 1990s, the SR-3 is based on the AS Val with a newly-designed folding stock and no integral suppressor for ease of concealed carry. After its adoption, the FSB defined new requirements with the aim of combining the qualities of the SR-3, AS Val and VSS Vintorez, resulting in the SR-3M. This version has a detachable suppressor, integrated collapsible foregrip, side-folding stock from the AS Val and other improvements.

Overview

In Survarium, the SR-3M is a rare high-tier weapon found only through random drops after battles or by purchasing it from the Shop. Its defining characteristic is its high damage per second, due to both its raw damage and rate of fire. It is also very light, the second lightest assault rifle after the 9A-91, and has great stopping power. Its downsides are its lower than average accuracy and its average armor penetration rating.

SR-3M Vikhr

The SR-3M Vikhr (Whirlwind) is a unique variant only available by purchasing it from the shop for 3,500. It features identical base stats but also possesses +10% silver received, +15% reload speed and +25% reliability stat bonuses. It features a spot-style camouflage pattern in mossy green and brown which covers most of the gun.
