The Vepr (Wild Boar) is a bullpup assault rifle that appears in Survarium.

Background

Announced in 2003 as the first Ukrainian-designed assault rifle, the Vepr is based on a bullpup conversion of the AK-74. Until that point, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were still using Soviet-era weapons such as the AKM and AK-74. As of 2015, the weapon is still being demonstrated and has not officially entered service.

Overview

In Survarium, the Vepr is a mid-tier assault rifle available from the Fringe Settlers at their fifth rank, "Devoted". It features mostly average stats, nearly identical to those of the AK-74M, but is slightly lighter than most assault rifles. Additionally, it is one of the few bullpup weapons currently in Survarium, meaning that it is easier to hide around corners than with other weapons.

Vepr Wanderer

The Vepr Wanderer is a unique variant only available by purchasing it from the shop for 1,500. It differs from the base version in that it is two levels lower (8) but has lower damage (48) and lower accuracy (0.25). It also possesses +10% silver received, +10% rate of fire and +25% reliability bonuses. It features a spot-style camouflage in brown and black that covers the entire gun.
